This Taser XREP can deliver a wireless electric shock from
over 100 feet away, and from the looks of it, you don't want
to be on its receiving end. Its Neuro-Muscular Incapacitation
(NMI) is the same disabling effect delivered by wired Taser weapons.
Loaded into an ordinary 12-gauge shotgun, it's designed into a
14-gram package small enough to fit into a gun barrel, yet it can
travel at 300 feet per second...Story Here

A Daily Mail investigation has revealed that far from saving the planet, the extravaganza will generate a huge fuel bill, acres of garbage, thousands of tonnes of carbon emissions, and a mileage total equal to the movement of an army.
The most conservative assessment of the flights being taken by its superstars is that they are flying an extraordinary 222,623.63 miles between them to get to the various concerts - nearly nine times the circumference of the world. The true environmental cost, as they transport their technicians, dancers and support staff, is likely to be far higher.

How would you feel if you pumped a gallon of gas only to find out that the service station's meter was off by 10 percent in its favor? Obviously you would want the owners exposed immediately and demand a refund, and possibly even lodge a criminal complaint against the station. So, why does the consumer tolerate such shenanigans with their ISP? ..Story Here

Forget the silly debate over pixel counts among digital cameras. There is little visible difference between cameras with seemingly different ratings. For instance, a 3 MP camera pretty much looks the same as a 6 MP camera, even when blown up to 12 x 18!" I know because I've done this. Have you? NY Times tech writer David Pogue did this here and here and saw the same thing - nothing!..Full Story Here..and different one Here.
